Our rapid door crashed out after a forklift strike — can it be re-fed?

Most breakaway doors are designed for exactly this. The curtain is re-fed and the system reset; we also check the frame and drive for damage from the impact.

Why does the door open when nothing is there?

Typically radar sensitivity or loop interference. Repositioning and re-tuning the activation device usually resolves it.

Can you service rapid doors alongside our roller shutters?

Yes. Mixed door types on one site are commonly covered by a single maintenance schedule.

Should I reset the controller before calling?

Note the fault code first. Resetting without recording the code removes the most useful diagnostic information.
